If you culpably cause damage to third parties, you are legally liable and must provide compensation. We therefore strongly recommend that you take out liability insurance for your jet ski for your own financial protection. In many countries (e.g. Italy) you are not allowed to use your jet ski at all without jet ski liability insurance. Otherwise, there is a risk of severe fines.
